- Dry roast semolina for 2-3 minutes in a heavy bottomed pan and transfer to a plate.Keep aside.
- Heat a heavy bottomed pan and add oil to it.Add mustard seeds.When seeds start crackling add curry leaves,chana daal and urad daal.Saute for a minute till both daal get slightly roasted.Add onion and green chillies and saute till onion becomes golden brown.
- Add suji,water and salt.Mix well.Cover with the lid and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.Squeeze a lemon and again cook for 5 minutes.Transfer to the serving bowl.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and enjoy the healthy and tasty Onion Upma.
