- In a thick bottomed pan heat ghee add peanuts curry leaves green chillies cashew nuts and raisins stir and saute until cashew becomes light brown in colour.
- Then add potatoes and saute well.
- Add samak rice and saute for a minute.
- Add water and stir again.
- Add black pepper and sendha salt and mix well.
- Close with lid and let it cook for 3-4minutes.
- Add beaten curd and mix well.
- Again close the lid and cook for 5-7miniutes.
- When water evaporates then switch off the flame.
- Serve hot Samak Rice Khichdi with green coriander leaves, pomegranate seeds cashewnuts and raisins with masala curd.
