  17. Take 1 tbspn - Tomato ketchup
  18. Take 2 tbspn - Coconut oil
  19. Make ready Salt
  20. Prepare 1 Egg , for brushing

I used western puff pastry to make egg tart: the shells got raised & pushed the custard out. Prepare the puff pastry sheets by first cutting the roll in half, straightening each roll and dividing each rectangular sheet of pastry in to three squares. Egg Puffs are baked puff pastry with spicy egg filling. It is one of my favorite snack.

Steps to make Egg Puffs:
  1. Prepare the dough. Set aside.
  2. Hard boil the eggs. Remove the shell and cut into halves. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai. Add in chopped onion, green chilly, ginger-garlic paste, curry leaves. Saute till onion turns golden brown. Add in Turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala, pepper powder. Mix well. Now add in tomato sauce and salt. Saute until done.Add coriander leaves. Set aside.
  4. Thaw the pastry dough. Make 6 square shaped pieces from the dough. Spread in butter and a little all - purpose flour while making the square shaped pieces.
  5. Place the masala on the top of each puff pastry square. Place one egg on the top. Fold the 4 sides of the pastry and seal the edges well with your finger.
  6. Line the baking pan.
  7. Brush the egg wash on top of the puff pastry.
  8. Pre-heat oven at 200 degree C. Bake for 22 -25 minutes or till the puff pastry turns golden brown.
