- Prepare 400 gm Ilish fish / hilsha
- Make ready 3-4 tbsp Mustard oil
- Take 3-4 green chilli slit
- Prepare 1 tsp kalonji

- Take 1 tsp turmeric powder

- Marinated the fish with salt and termeric powder for 10 min.
- Heat oil in a pan add kalonji and green chilli & satue till fragrent.
- Add fish and satue 1-2 min then add water and stir.
- Add salt and termeric powder and cover and cook 4-5 min.
- Serve hot with boiled rice.
