- Add tomato and cover and cook it almost 2-3 min.
- Then add sugar and add banana blossoms and mixed it very well.
- Add prawns and mixed. Fried all the items on full flame.
- Cover and cook it 6-7 min. Then add little bit of water and fried it.
- Again cover and cook it 5-6 min.
- Add garam masala powder and ghee and serve hot with boiled rice.

I always get the water version as brines has a sour taste which is not suitable for Bengali. Mochar ghonto or banana blossom stir fry is unanimously the star of any lunch menu, yet it is so elusive.
