  2. Get 500 gm semolina (sooji)
  3. Take 300 gm curd

  8. Prepare 500 gm boiled peeled and mashed potatoes

  12. Get 6-8 curry leaves
  13. Make ready 2 tbs finely chopped onions
  14. Take to taste Salt
  15. Get 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  16. Prepare 1 tsp garam masala
  17. Make ready 1 tbs lemon juice

Rava appam is prepared with semolina and some chopped veggies. Appam is always been the most popular and favorite snack for breakfast. Steps to make Sooji stuffed Appam:
  1. Mix all the ingredients given above for cover and keep aside for 10 minutes
  2. For filling heat oil in small Pan add cumin seeds when it crackles add grated ginger green chilli paste chopped onions curry leaves garam masala turmeric powder salt to taste and saute for 1 minutes now pour this tempering over the boiled and mashed potatoes and mix well now add lemon juice finely chopped fresh coriander leaves now combine well and make small balls from this mixture
  3. Pre heat Appam pan and grease with oil now pour 1/2 tsp sooji batter in each cavity place potato mixture ball over it now add 1/2 tsp sooji batter and cover the the balls then cover with lid and cook in low flame until the bottom side is golden brown then flip the appam and cook for 1 to 2 minutes
  4. Now stuffed appams are ready to eat serve hot with tomato sauce.
