- In the same Kadai. Add 2 tbsp oil. Fry 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1 dry red chilli and few curry leaves. Add 1 chopped onion fry till it is light brown in colour. Then add 1/2 grated carrot and crushed ginger. Saute it for few minutes
- Add 1 glass lukewarm water. Add red chilli powder and cumin powder and salt.
- Cover and cook for few minutes. Add fried semolina. Mix………….well. Till it is dry. Once it is done. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Transfer to a serving plate. Immediately serve hot carrot upma with spicy coriander chutney.
