The ingredients needed to make Malai pepper paneer masala:
- Get 2 tsp whole black pepper
- Prepare 250 g paneer cut in cube shape
- Get 1 tsp coriander powder
- Get 1 tsp fennel seeds

- Prepare 1-2 small onion finely choppex (approx 100 g)

- Prepare 1 tsp chilli flakes
- Prepare 1 tsp nutmeg powder
- Make ready 150 ml milk
- Take 40 g fresh cream
- Take as needed Kasuri methi for garnishing
- Take to taste Salt

Malai paneer peas masala is a creamy Indian dish made with cottage cheese and peas. This is a great combination to go with rotis. In this curry we make a puree of both tomato and onion then use it in the recipe. This is added with few more mild spices and malai.
Steps to make Malai pepper paneer masala:
- In a pan, add the black pepper. Coriander, fennel seeds and dry roast until nice aroma comes out. Blend into a fine powder and keep aside.
- Heat the pan. Add 1 tsp oil. Add chpped ginger & garlic and saute for few seconds. Now add the copped onion and saute until onions are light bown. Now add the peanuts and saute for few seconds. Cool down. Blend into a smooth paste and keep aside.
- Heat another pan, add 1 tsp oil. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves and saute for few seconds. Add the onion-peanut paste (prepared in 2ns step). Saute for few seconds. Add the pepper fennel powder (prepared in 1st step), mix well and saute for few seconds. Add curd and coconut powder, chilli flakes, numeg powder and mix well. Add salt, milk and mix well. Add the paneer cubes (you can lightly fry the paneer cubes if you want) and mix well. Cover with lid and keep simmering for 8-10 minutes.
- Switch off the flame. Transfer into serving bowl. Garnish with cream and dry kasuri methi powder.
In this curry we make a puree of both tomato and onion then use it in the recipe. This is added with few more mild spices and malai. Milk is finally added to the gravy.
